REGISTRATION REMINDERS

Announcements

  • Deadline for RC pre-evaluation is extended until October 21, 2019!
  • Deadline for RC pre-evaluation payment is extended until October 23, 2019!

Deadlines

  • October 7, 2019 October 21, 2019 – RC pre-evaluation registration deadline
  • November 9, 2019 – YSC registration deadline

 

General Guidelines

  • All confirmation, registration, and payment forms may be accessed at our Forms page.
  • All submissions must be filled out completely and correctly following the sample format.
  • All required attachments must be included following the file name format and file type.
  • A response from the organizers will be sent to confirm the submission.
  • Late submissions will not be entertained.
  • Follow the following format for the file name of the scanned copy of IDs: [Subevent] ID_[Name of School]

Research Competition

  • Schools may send up to 3 research entries per category for the pre-evaluation of extended abstracts.
  • The top 24 teams will qualify for the Exhibit and Project Presentation round.
  • Registrants must submit a scanned front and back copy of the participants’ present school IDs (with 1 page per entry) through the Registration Form for RC.
  • Registrants must also submit a scanned copy of proof of payment for the pre-evaluation fees through the Proof of Payment form.
  • Qualifiers for RC must submit a scanned copy of proof of payment through the Proof of Payment form.

 

Youth Science Convention

  • Only the first 250 students to register, excluding those who will participate in RC, will be accommodated.
  • A limit of 15 students per school will be imposed for YSC.
  • In the case wherein 250 slots are not filled by October 26, 2019, the organizers shall accept more participants from schools on a first come-first served basis.
  • Registrants must submit a scanned front and back copy of the participants’ present school IDs (with 1 page per school) through the Registration Form for YSC, as well as a scanned copy of proof of payment through the Proof of Payment form.

PAYMENT REMINDERS

General Guidelines

  • All registration fee payments must be paid by deposit to the following account:
    Bank: Bank of the Philippine Islands
    Account name: UP ALCHEMES
    Account number: 9601-0000-72
  • After payment, send all proofs of payment to the Proof of Payment form.
  • For participants who are planning to join the Research Competition, the Pre-Evaluation fee must be paid on or before October 23, 2019. All aforementioned forms are located in the Forms page of the Research Fair website.

Advanced Payment

  • The advanced payment period starts on September 19, 2019 and ends on October 24, 2019.
  • The registration fees are as follows:
    • YSC registration fee: Php 500 per participant
    • Adviser registration fee: Php 300 per adviser

 

Regular Payment

  • The regular payment period is from October 25, 2019 to January 13, 2020.
  • A 70% downpayment should be made at least 7 days before the last day of payment (January 6, 2020) in order to be considered registered.The remaining balance must be settled during the registration on the first day of the event.
  • A total of 24 teams will qualify for the Exhibit and Project Presentation.
  • The registration fees are as follows:
    • RC pre-evaluation fee: Php 200 per entry
    • RC registration fee: Php 600 per participant
    • YSC registration fee: Php 550 per participant
    • Adviser registration fee: Php 350 per adviser
