RF2025 Registration
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- All registration forms can be accessed on our Forms page.
- All submissions must be completed correctly, following the sample format provided.
- All required files must follow the correct file name format and file type.
- A confirmation response from the organizers will be sent after the submission is received.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
- More detailed guidelines can be found in the Research Fair 2025 Handbook.
Research Competition
- Each school may submit a maximum of three (3) research entries per category for the Journal Entry Round.
- From the submitted entries, only the top 20 research entries per category will be selected to participate in the Exhibit Presentation. This is the face-to-face component, where the research poster will be presented to a panel of up to three (3) judges, who are experts in the field corresponding to the poster’s category.
- Of the 20 entries, only the top six (6) per category will proceed to the Closed-Door Defense Round. Ties will be broken based on the Journal Entry Round scores of the teams.
- Continuing projects will be accepted, provided they show substantial progress from previous versions.
- Resubmission of research entries is not allowed. However, research conducted from SY 2023-2024 to the present may be submitted as long as it was not previously entered in past Research Fairs, and the students are still bona fide high school students.
National Science Conquest
- Only the first sixty (60) teams to submit their registration forms will be accommodated.
- Each school may send up to three (3) teams, with each team consisting of three (3) members and one (1) optional alternate.
- If a registered participant is unable to attend the competition due to valid reasons (e.g., illness, death in the immediate family), a substitute from the same school will be allowed to compete, provided that:
- The replacement satisfies the eligibility guidelines.
- A document validating the reason for absence is submitted during registration, prior to the Opening Program of NSC.
- No replacements will be allowed after this point. Failure to comply will result in the team competing with fewer members.
- The registered alternate may replace a main team member without submitting a document of excuse.
Youth Science Convention
- Only the first 150 students to submit their registration forms will be accommodated.
- Each school is allowed to send a maximum of fifteen (15) participants (excluding the adviser).
- If the 150 slots are not filled by December 6, 2024, the organizers will accept additional participants from schools on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each school may send up to two (2) groups, with three (3) members per group, for the case study competition. Only students registered for the talks are eligible to participate in the case study competition.
